Tyne Valley MTB was created in June 2009 by a small group of mountain biking enthusiasts based in the Tyne Valley and nearby areas. New members are welcome. Take a look at what we do and get in touch with the voluntary organizer if you would like more information or you would like to join a ride before becoming a member.
Mountain biking is growing exponentionally in popularity all over the western world but mountain bikers don’t always want to join a club. Tyne Valley MTB Cycling understands this but welcomes your membership to support the work we do on your behalf.
Riders visiting the area are also welcome to join a ride.
Do get in touch if you would like local information about local mountain biking routes or have a concern relating to access or mountain biking in general.
Note: The Honorary Organiser of Tyne Valley MTB is also the Regional Contact for OpenMTB which is the national body representing mountain biking in the UK fighting for more facilities and better access.
