New Dragon Cycle Trail

The new Dragon Cycle Trail at Wallington which will open with a ‘celebration of pedal power’ on 28th & 29th May.  It’s an entry level trail very much aimed at families.

2017 Alpine MTB Tour to Zermatt

Read the details on this years upcoming TVMTBC Alps Tour where the club will ride the upper reaches of the west end of the Rhone Valley and on to Zermatt where the scenery is exceptional and MTB trails are unforgettable.

2017 Rides Programme

Wednesday evening rides will take place on a weekly basis from March to October. These are guided rides and the start/route will vary from week to week. Info sent to riders by email and will always be ‘on’ unless the weather verges on the ‘extreme’!

New MTB Publications

It's a good time for cycling in the North East!  Firstly the first map reprint of the 120 mile long Sandstone Way for MTBs is now available showing the new sections.  Additionally, a new cycle routes guidebook has been published, which the chairman of the club compiled, being the first of a series of three guidebooks.

Our 4 aims set down when the club formed in 2009 have remained constant: a) provide opportunities for MTB enthusiasts to ride together & share route information b) campaign/negotiate for new and/or improved routes and facilities c) physically help repair or build routes for mountain biking and d) create a means to apply for and receive funding to help achieve aims b) & c)
