Jenny Graham at the Queens Hall

Female cyclist Jenny Graham cycled around the world in 124 days breaking the world record by 20 days. Cycling 15 hours daily and averaging 156 miles per day, Jenny rode 18,000 miles unsupported across 4 continents and through 16 countries carrying all her kit.

2018 Review

Welcome to our 2018 review. The club was very active in 2018 with many evening rides (including dark nights with lights), numerous day rides, we rode the off-road version of the Reivers Cycle Route; the west part of the Southern Upland Way by MTB and the entire road version of that route.

AGM 11.03.19. Chairman’s Report

Ted welcomed 29 attendees comprising members and visitors and explained the Club’s AGM had evolved into a model which respects the Club’s constitution but adopts minimal ceremony and instead concentrates on providing information, review, vision and inspiration.

2018 Alps MTB Tour Geneva / Briancon

Our route starts from the main valley just south of Geneva and from then on it climbs and descends on a daily basis. En route south it crosses more main valleys and of course daily height gain to earn long descents is fundamental to the journey.

2018 Alpine MTB Tour Alta Rezia

The club is organising Three Alps tours in 2018. The July tour will be through the Alta Rezia area of Switzerland and Italy famous for its uplift assisted flow trails and high mountain challenge routes. This will be the third time we will have biked in this area and probably not the last.
